Over 25,000 people call PAOC churches home in our district and over 17,000 people attend Pentecostal churches each Sunday.
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the divinely inbreathed, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the Persons of the Holy Trinity.
We believe the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His deity, His sinless humanity and perfect life, the eternal all-sufficiency of His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His personal coming again at His second advent.
We believe that justification is a judicial act of God on the believer’s behalf solely on the merits of Christ, and that regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe in holy living, the present day reality of the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the Lord’s supernatural healing of the human body.
We believe in Christ’s Lordship of the Church, the observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed in heaven and the eternal doom of the unregenerate in the lake of fire.

The number of churches and preaching points in the BC/Yukon District in 1927 was 10, and had increased to nearly 200 by the year 2002 when the district celebrated its 75th Anniversary. Over 35 of these churches are among a variety of cultural language groups. Giving to World Missions peaked at $2.37 million in 1998 and has consistently averaged around the $1.9 million mark for the past 10 years. Current ministry emphasis include a return to church planting, and efforts to attain growth through increasing the health of both churches and credential holders.
We are grateful to God for the dedication and sacrifice of all the District Superintendents, District Staff, Directors, Section Pastors, and Leaders, and the contribution of all the faithful pastors and credential holders of the past and present together with the many hundreds of faithful church members and adherents who have backed the movement with their prayers and finances through the years. And should Jesus tarry, together we will continue to sow abundantly that we might reap an abundant harvest. To God Be The Glory!
