We are both excited for Pastor Austin, Becca and Gus, while saddened to announce Austin’s resignation as our MLT for Kids & Families. He will be concluding his role with the BCYD at the end of this year.
Austin is embarking on a new ministry assignment as the Campus Children’s Pastor at Hope City Church in Edmonton, starting in January.
Austin has been with our ministry lead team (MLT) for four years. Austin, his wife Becca and their son Gus will be moving to Edmonton, in order to raise their family in this community.
Austin will be continuing in his role until mid-December, after which our managing directors will establish an interim strategy for Children, Preteen and Family Ministries within our network.
Austin extends his sincere appreciation to everyone for their continuous partnership and support during this transition period. He eagerly awaits the upcoming meetings to personally express his gratitude.
