Koine cross Cultural Training

Koine (koi-nay) is our brand-new cultural competency training designed for the local church. This training will help your team better understand the essential components of a multicultural Church; engage newcomers, immigrants, and indigenous communities; and find your voice around issues of racial and social justice.

We invite you to check out bcyd.ca/koine and sign up for a training session for your staff, board members, and lay leaders led by Harold Gutierrez, our Intercultural and Indigenous Ministries Director.

The Master of Arts in Youth Ministry focuses on practical training in youth ministry with a significant focus on spiritual formation and allows for flexibility between theology and leadership. This program is targeted toward individuals who work or volunteer with young people in a church, camp, or community context.

Both programs are delivered in person and online via video conferencing. These programs will be an engaging experience with world-class instructors and a diverse group of peers from across the country.
