Updates for Lead Forward Conference 2023
We’ve announced two of our speakers for Lead Forward 2023; Dave Ferguson and Thomson Matthew. We look forward to having them join us in Victoria this October!
Koine cross Cultural Training
Koine (koi-nay) is our brand-new cultural competency training designed for the local church. This training will help your team better understand the essential components of a multicultural Church; engage newcomers, immigrants, and indigenous communities; and find your voice around issues of racial and social justice.
We invite you to check out bcyd.ca/koine and sign up for a training session for your staff, board members, and lay leaders led by Harold Gutierrez, our Intercultural and Indigenous Ministries Director.
Church Planting Apprenticeship Program
The Church Planting Apprenticeship (CPA) Program provides funding assistance to churches wanting to plant new churches or start new locations by helping them employ “apprentices” who can learn and grow while they prepare to launch.
Master’s Degree programs at Summit Pacific College
Apply today for our Fall 2023 intake
The Master of Arts in Theology and Spiritual Leadership equips pastors, lay leaders, and interested individuals in the church and marketplace contexts with spiritual leadership competencies rooted in biblical and theological knowledge.
The Master of Arts in Youth Ministry focuses on practical training in youth ministry with a significant focus on spiritual formation and allows for flexibility between theology and leadership. This program is targeted toward individuals who work or volunteer with young people in a church, camp, or community context.
Both programs are delivered in person and online via video conferencing. These programs will be an engaging experience with world-class instructors and a diverse group of peers from across the country.
The Master’s degree can be completed while in full-time ministry or work.
We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2023 intake.
